Sheet metal forming is a key manufacturing process used to shape metal sheets into desired geometries without removing material. At BBMetalindo, we offer a few metal forming processes such as rolling and pressing. Rolling is often use in producing items such as pipes, tanks, and ductworks. Another common technique is forming concave shapes, often achieved through deep drawing. In deep drawing, a punch forces the sheet metal into a die cavity, gradually stretching and forming it into a concave or cup-like shape. Since we specialize in vessel fabrication, our facility is equipped with a flanging machine. This allows us to apply the rolling technique to form a closing curve along the edge of concave shapes.
